I have tried different manufators planes, but now I only use Yellow's. I love to catfish for big Blues. I usually drift troll, making long slow passes. Without the planes I can cover 8-10 feet per pass. WebbI like 1/16oz jigs for crappie. Never trolled for them though, you would have to go painfully slow with that light of a jig. I usually just drift by letting the wind push me around. If there's no wind I'll make a long cast and crawl it back in very slowly. 1/16 oz is always safe.
